Not too sure if this goes here. I have recently learnt to use a sewing machine and am capable of very basic things. Now there is some fabric I want to get - it is all black and white but each has different things on it. I just love the fabric and like the black and white theme just dont know what to do with it. I thought pillow cases or cusion covers but I dont use cushions and pillow covers wil get worn. Anyone have some ideas od what I could do with it? I am currently thinking wall hanging type things like stick each piece on a canvas and call it art.
Without having much of a sense of the fabric, this might be totally off, but maybe curtains? (Apparently having curtains can even help with your AC/heating bills.)
a pillow case would be cool and really easy for a beginner project.
Curtains especially lined ones definitely help with keeping the house insulated. And we have curtains in every room so no major need. I just want something so all the fabric (about half a yard of 6 different patterns) are near each other because they just look choice beside each other. Pillow cases are more practical and useable to me than cushions.
