I am not a teen mom, but I have read many of the "sticky" threads,
so I hope it's ok if I join for a while.

Well hello! I'm Tessa 19 y/o mama to Ian 4 and Aidan 15 months! You are right you've found an amazing place and ramonesgirl is an amazing mama! Just make sure you read over the kidless alleys guidlines if you haven't already! :D I'll see ya around the boards!
Hi, I wrote that ... thanks!
I am Heather, single mama to Lyric who's 6 years old.
Hi there!
I'm Hilary, a 21year old college student and mama to a beautiful and enchanting toddler (who now wears big boy underpants to daycare everyday! I'm so happy to be done washing diapers and pull-ups.)
You are more than welcome to join for however long you want to be here. Glad to see you're reading the stickies - like I&A'smama pointed out the KA/older mama guidelines are particularly important ones. Thanks for posting the link to that article - I haven't read it and I'm excited to now. (And yeah, ramonegirl totally rocks.)
See you around the boards!
Thank-you very much. I appreciate being directed to the KA/Older Mamas Guidelines.
I guess I would be a (much) Older Mom (lol!) :)
I have a 10 year old daughter.
Hi and welcome! Heather's essay really rocks, doesn't it? Hope to see you around!
hey! I am Nicole, single mama to two girls ages 2 and 4. welcome to GM! I am sure you have some good advice since you have an older daughter.
Welcome! :)
Hi I'm tricia. I am 24 years old and a mom to a 6 year old girl. I don't post often here anymore, but used to be really active here.
Hope you enjoy your time.
Thank-you all for the warm welcome. I really appreciate it. :)
Would this thread be a good place to ask questions which do not fit into any of the other currently active threads?
For example, I was wondering:
What is the general consensus about reactivating old threads? I have been reading through a lot of fascinating topics which are from 1, 2, and even 3 years ago. I have really wanted to respond to some of them, but because they are so old, I didn't know how appropriate it would be to post in them.
So, what do you think about activating old threads?
Thanks.
You can start new threads by going to a forum and clicking new topic.
I think it's fine. There's a lot that we can still learn from reactivating some of those discussions. I would suggest mentioning that they are old threads when you post on them, though, in case somebody doesn't notice.
Old threads are awesome, bring em up whenever you want to.
Welcome to GM :D I'm Cristi, 23 yr old mama to 4 yr old and 7 week old boyos.
Thank-you both. :)
Welcome to GM my name is Monique mom to 16 month old baby boy keneil looking forward to know you better
