My favorite time with my 20 month old son, Devin is in the morning when we wake up. I bring him in bed with me and we cuddle and play. I think I love him even more during our morning cuddle time than the rest of the day, haha.
When is your favorite time with your kids?
My favorite time is actually two times. I love dinner time, although I guess that would be considered family time. We sit at the table together and eat and talk. We do our highs and lows of our day. I love hearing about what was great and horrible about my families days. My 3 y/o son is actually pretty good at it. My other favorite time is right between bath time and bedtime, like when they are getting out of the bath and getting ready for bed. We all brush our teeth and get jammies on and then all 5 of us cuddle up in the boys's bed (they share a bed) and read a story and just cuddle. I love to hug and kiss and love on my kids, I love seeing how much they love us and how much we love them. I love looking at them and know that I made them and they are mine! That they are the people they are because of how they are raised. That I am able to be a damn good parent! I love them so much it literally hurts and makes me want to cry!
oh i know... the other night when i checked on him my chest just ached just from looking at him. I can't believe how much it hurts to love my baby! It is something you cannot accurately describe and you don't understand until you have kids of your own.
LOL, bedtime is like my least favourite time of the day! DD has always been a pain to get to sleep, and she hates teeth-brushing. LOL
I think I like after supper best because we go for walks, during the summer anyways. It's always cooler and more peaceful, and we both love being outside and looking at the moon. :)
mamatessa, I'm totally stealing the highs and lows idea, I had never thought of doing that at supper time before but I really like it!
thanks! Ya i love it because its always a quiet and peaceful time (at least once we have sat down and started eating! lol) but it works perfectly! Its one of the few times we're actually all together. My boys are young but they are always off playing and we're always off doing our own thing whether its the computer, reading, tv, whatever. So its the best time to do it.
That's hard. Probably swimming. We don't have AC and live within a mile of both a beach and a pool, so we go swimming everyday. It's been so much fun.
We've going swimming everyday too! It is so fun and Cae is getting so good at it.
i love to go swimming with my kids too! we have an indoor pool here though. its too cold a lot to have an outdoor pool. My kids are sooo differant than each other when it comes to the water. Ian is deathly afraid of the water although he's doing much better. He refuses to go any deeper than about arm pit level. Aidan is a water demon! He LOVES to swim! And I bet he'll be swimming on his own within a year or so. Last year when I took him he jumped off of the bench they have (he was jumping into my arms) and he deliberately jumped too far to the side of me. He wanted to go in by himself. I didnt have enough strength to keep his head above water because I wasnt prepared. I felt horrible and was sure he would be freaking out. But nope not Aidan! He came up laughing!! He loved it! Kiara also loves the water! She loves to splash people!! Soooo much fun!
