I live in a really full house! There's me and my boyfriend, who share a room. There's Matt, who isn't part of the family but lives with us, there's my boyfriend's twin brother who lives with us, and the Mom of the twins and her Boyfriend.
This house has a dog, 2 snakes, a salamander and now at the end of this week my boyfriend's Nephew, Damian, who's about 2 and a half is going to be here for awhile.
Sometimes I just feel so crowded!
The biggest problem though, is Gary. He's got it in his head that some stupid bank in Africa is sending him 150 million dollars U.S. I'm Canadian, so that's a pretty hefty amount of money.
But what he can't seem to grasp, no matter how many times people tell him, is that it's a scam! For over three years he's been sending them thousands of dollars of money that's not his (He's been borrowing from friends, the boys' Grandma, etc.) and is just putting himself further in the hole.
He doesn't work, he just collects less than 300$ a month from WCB, and just leased himself a new truck.
My boyfriend's mom does all the working. My boyfriend was an apprentice welder and heavy duty mechanic, but recession put him out of a job, but at least his unemployment gives him 5-600$ every two weeks.
So Priscilla does all the working. She's got a really bad back, too. And it breaks my heart to see all of this going on.
Matt pays rent, he works on the base as a cook. My boyfriend's twin brother works at the town's Youth Center, and helps out with bills as well. But living is expensive, and they are experiencing massive amounts of money issues. And to top it all off, I'm about to break the news to them that I've got a baby on the way.
We all know, there is never a good time to break that news.
But now Gary can't even pay for his truck, there was a huge fight that broke out last weekend, and even though he talks the talk he'd never hit anyone because he would just get kicked out.
It's just so stressful. This is a very loud, busy house.
Gary makes me so mad, because he just tore up the front and backyard of a house we're RENTING, to build a new fence even though the first one was just fine, a new deck, and pour tons of concrete! It's just really, really annoying. The whole entire yard looks like crap and to top it all off he just had a brother end up in the hospital and now needs to borrow more money to go to BC for a visit.
it's hard to tell Priscilla because I know how much she is struggling. I don't want her to struggle anymore, but I can't prevent any of the stupidity happening in the house. I'm just the adopted daughter who does schoolwork and holes herself up in the basement. I help out around the house whenever asked, but she really needs a break. I wish I knew a way to just relieve her of all this stress, cause I'm definately feeling the effects.

hey there i just want to let u know that i been through that in it takes time but just hang in there ... things will get better .... also when u see that she is tired don't wait for her to ask just do it an that might lighten up her day a little .....well take care

I haven't been on for awhile, last weekend I babysat a 2 year old girl for the weekend, at her house while her parents travelled across the border. I came home to find out the router got fried from the storm we had the previous night, and I was SOL for internet. A few days later we got a good deal on a new router, and everything got reconnected. I've told everyone who needs to know that I am pregnant, and I am now 8 weeks, I have an appointment at the Maternity clinic on the 26th for my first Ultrasound. Unfortunately, the doctors in this town and city are not taking on any new patients, there's a crisis for doctors here. So I'm just going to have to get my checkups done at the hospital's maternity clinic... Which isn't too bad, it's better than nothing.
But this also puts a hold on my surgery to have my wisdom teeth removed, I was supposed to have that procedure done before I got pregnant. It was to see a specialist, because they are growing into my jaw bone and causing liberal amounts of pain >.<
As it stands, everything is slowly starting to play out, I couldn't put a sock on the whole smoking in the house thing even with the news out that I am pregnant, but I'm just going to suck it up and stay in my room when I'm not doing chores.
Luckily everyone has been really supportive, even my big brother whom I thought would have had a fit! Everything is getting better.. Now just to wait =P
