oh wow mama, when it rains it pours! im so sorry, hopefully its not too serious of one. he seems like hes doing good though. my friend julie's son has asbergers (sp?) and he does the early childhood and has really come along! im sorry i missed your call last night. kiara does have rsv and she's on breathing treatments and all that. we were at the drs trying to get her oxygen levels above 90% forever! but im home now, just dealing with a sick baby. ill call you when i have a calm second or call me if you really need to talk!

Basically 'educational autism' is what they call it because he was evaluated by the school district autism specialist and they cannot give a medical diagnosis.

nichcy.org has info on a bunch of different types of disabilties.

cec.sped.org has information about specific disabilities and also current articles about issues within specific disabilities... it does say you need a membership, but I get newsletter e-mails from them and I do not pay... I will figure out how that happened so you can get the newsletters too-- of course I could always forward them to you

ucp.org is a national support group you will find on the site information about "Including Samuel" AMAZING We watched in one of my classes and it is great! If you can get your hands on it definitely watch it.

autismspeaks.org is based on walking events to support research of autism, it has a news section and information as well.

babycenter.com they have a lot of community groups you can join

I am also in constant contact with one of the local advocacy centers and could see what information they could find about local centers in your area as well.
