What are you proud of today?Ever look around your mess of a place at the end of the day and realize you can't think of anything productive you actually did all day? That would be just about every day of my life, and sometimes it stresses me out. What helps is to know that I did do something, even when it's not apparent and nothing was checked off the to do list. So... What *did* you do today? For me, today I was feeling more motivated than usual and my day was more productive than normal. What are you proud of?

Re: What are you proud of today?
I like this thread!
I did some really intense reflection on what I expect out of my relationship and whether those expectations are reasonable. My partner and I split up three weeks ago and I feel like I have been doing some really intense processing. Today felt like a breakthrough. I hope we work things out and I think today might have been really key.
Other than that, I did some good stuff around the house. I did the dishes after dinner even though I really wanted to leave them. I'm working on a lab report even though I'd rather leave it. I've made it almost through a whole week of class, when I'd rather leave it.
I'm noticing a trend here.
I guess I am trying to stay really optimistic about life even when it feels so dang hard.

hmm well today is a snow day for me BUT today I finished a paper, baked cookies for a meeting on tuesday, played with devin even though he told me he wanted me to go to school today. (lol) I don't really feel very productive today... I am taking Devin's nap time to be a bum I think but it's the first day of my extended spring break
Re: What are you proud of today?
It's still early, but I managed to get my daughter to class on time even though I was dead tired. I'm taking my kids to the science museum in a few mins, supervising lunch hour at the school, and building a skeleton with my son. So even if I don't accomplish much else, at least I'm being productive with the kids today.
Re: What are you proud of today?
I made my own laundry detergent for the first time today.
Re: What are you proud of today?

Re: What are you proud of today?
Yeah, I have a tendency to try out projects like that and ignore the more stressful boring aspects of housework, so my house is a mess, but I have lots of homemade stuff! LMAO!
Today I'm proud I took DD to her friend's birthday party somewhere super busy and stressful and I didn't lose it. I'm proud I took some time for myself to be lazy.
Re: What are you proud of today?
Today I drove an hour to see my best friend and we made homemade pizza-- even the dough
