I work full-time and express milk for my little one, but I'm having a hard time getting enough milk to keep him full while I'm away. We're starting to introduce solids, so that will help, but I also want to try to increase the amount of milk I can pump. I usually only get one chance to pump each day while I'm at work, but I also pump right before I go to bed (after he nurses) and first thing in the morning (again, after he nurses). Any suggestions?
I eat oatmeal for breakfast when I can (though I don't like it at all).
I try to relax and think about babies while I am pumping.
I just bought some mother's milk tea which has fenugreek and some other such herbs in it.
I'm definitely going to read what kellymom and LLL have to say on this, and I may ask my family care person for suggestions, but I was wondering if you all had particular success with anything.

I would pump while I was nursing. Real baby on one boob, machine baby on the other. I'd get Cae to get one side started and then switch him to the other and pump the one he wasn't on. Good luck!
I did that too like at night when you are really full and there is no way the baby will drink all the milk. Just make sure to have a freezer bag by your bed if you are lazy like I was haha. Also, at work I used to split up my lunch break so I could pump several times a day versus just one time. You could try recording your baby crying on your phone so you could play it when you pump. Keep pics with you. I was a horrible pumper (or it was because I had a hand pump) so I had to try a million things to get enough milk. I used to pump a couple ounces like an hour after he ate sometimes too. That might trick you body into thinking you need to increase your milk supply.
