I feel I've come back many times to say hi.
I joined so many years ago and I've connected through many members on facebook so I feel as if I know what many of you are up to.
I'm Heather, mom to L. I'll be 30 in August! Lyric will be 11 this year. Time flies.
I graduate in less than a month with my Master's in counseling. After that, I am not completely sure what I will be doing. Job hunting, I suppose. I am in a longterm relationship and he is thinking of med school, grad school, something ... so I will also keep him in mind.
Lyric is in a lot of activities: ballet, singing, theatre, rock wall climbing, intermurals, and orchestra all throughout the year. She loves it all. She's almost done with 4th grade.
I live in North Dakota now. I am also 3.5 years sober and am currently in eating disorder treatment. I've worked a LOT on my mental health the past several years ... working on past trauma, abuse, depression, and anxiety. It's been hard ... but I feel I am coming out of my fog finally. L has been in counseling, as well - working on some attachment stuff and abadonment issues related to her dad.
Anyway, I am hoping after graduation to get on the site more! :)

Glad to be back. I probably won't be posting much the next couple of weeks. I have finals, last research project due, wrap up at internship, etc.
