The Dogs

So I have a lab mix and my boyfriends parents have a pit bull and when ever they are together they like to play... aggressively. I have gotten on to them and gotten on to them and they always go back to playing. I have even set them both outside.Well this morning I was cooking and I had set Braydin (2) in front of his morning cartoons and when I turn back around he is in the middle of the two dogs playing. I freaked out and ran to them and by the time I got there he was screaming because they had accidently scratched him, on his face!! I was really angry and I sent the dogs outside. I don't know what else to do with them and I don't want them hurting him again! what should i do? I don't mind if my dog is outside but i know that the in laws would never let their dog outside for more than a few mins. Please help!

It's usually used for cats,

It's usually used for cats, but it worked on my dog for various behaviors. Have you tried spraying them with water? For dogs, you usually have to go right for the face, but it's just water and won't hurt them, wereas they could really hurt your son. Shout "NO!" and spray with the water. If you want the behavior to completely stop, turn the hose on them when they do it outside as well. If you just want to kind of house-train them, only spray them when they do it inside.

It's probably good for energetic dogs to play this way, so I'd probably just try to train them to keep it outside.
