What gets you moving?

I just came back from about an hour walk with Chloe. She got a lil car for her birthday (the kind that has a handle so I can push it, when she gets older she can make it move herself) and loves going for walks in it. It's one way I make sure to get moving each day (especially since it's nice out now). What do you all do to get moving? Any suggestions for moving in the winter? I'm not sure what I'll do then.

play music, especially when you're cleaning (or cooking or whatever). i'm motivated to do things faster and plus it makes cleaning suck a lot less. the #1 thing that gets me moving, though, is making sure i take a shower and get us both ready right when we get up so i don't put off doing everything else and get lazy.

if it's nice out, we try to walk to a park or to get him a "treat" (some kind of fruit usually) or something. i rollerblade and love to rollerblade with him in the stroller (it's kind of a smaller jogging stroller). go for walks and pick flowers or even grass or go to a playground and let her bury herself in the rocks (like my kiddo likes to do, haha).

in the winter, chloe might be old enough for you two to play in the snow on not so blistering cold days and go for walks with her in a sled of some kind (which are like $5). the winters can get really miserable sometimes here but if you have a car or access to one, there might be play yards inside some stores or malls where you could go. plus doing laps around malls can be good exercise during the winter.

my mind is blank right now, heh. more later maybe.
