i love walmart, thats just my most favorite store, you can have the mall im all about it. anyways i was wondering if anyone else has noticed the savings available in the way of Over the counter drugs ( ie. headache med.) its right there next to the name brands and the active ingredients are the same! i was so excited. because the name brand might be 6 to 8 dollars while walmarts band is a little over 2 dollars. its a great savings. saving money is my hobby

Yep, I've certainly noticed. Wal-Mart, along with a lot of other stores (I.E. ShopKo, Target, various outlets) have their own store brand. It's always cheaper, and they make everything from medicine to food in their own store brand.
I used to work at Walmart, and trust me I hardly ever had a huge paycheck cuz I always spent it all at the store!
I buy the generic brand stuff too...even the slimfast stuff. It tastes just as good and is way cheaper than the name brands.
slimfast is good?? since when? heh, j/k, but seriously, that stuff is nasty! (plus dieting is bad!)
Actually, I used to love SlimFast. I never used it as a diet though, but in the mornings I would grab a shake because I usually forgot to eat breakfast. I know they have things like Carnation Instant Breakfast and Boost, but for some reason my mom always had coupons for SlimFast, so I just used them.
Hehe, once I took one to work with me and drank it with a huge slice of greasy pepperoni pizza. One of my coworkers kept staring at me, then finally said, "Uh, I think you're doing it wrong..."
im all about generics but i will say that tums (the real ones) taste much better than the cvs brand. ill shell out a little bit more for something that doesnt taste like ass.
