BFing question

O.k I dont know if this is dumb or not but I have been wondering about this for a while... When you are feeding and "let down" occurs is you milk supposed to keep flowing from then until the baby is done or is it normal for it to let down then almost stop for a while then let down again ect. cuz thats what happens to me!!??

When mine would let down, it would just spray (literaly) for just a little while, then stop, then do it a little more before she stopped. So what you described is exactly what happened to me.

I think it's really common for women to have muliple letdowns (though they may feel one or none). If you think about it in the way your babe nurses, if it was always constant they'd choke- if that makes sense..
