SOLID FOOD: BEST DELAYED

A great link that explains the benefits, and many reasons to wait until your baby is six months to start solids:

Hi

:D Hi. My name is Candice and i just joined this site. I have 6 month old daughter. I waited till she was 6 months to give her baby food but she has been eating cereal since she was 4 months.
When babies start baby food is it normal for them to not have a bowel movement for say 2 days :?:

I know it is normal for brestfed babies to go a long time without pooping, but I know nothing about formula fed babies. And I don't even know if your baby is breastfed or formula fed anyway! This is all I can help; if your baby is breastfed it is perfectly fine. :D

*And just for future reference for other moms; baby cereal DOES count as a solid food.
