I got a restraining order against BD, as most of you know, and well today my friend Bekka, Riley and I went to our other friends house for a little bit. BD showed up after we got there so I handed Riley to my friend and had them slip out the back door and get into my car. I knew that BD knew I was there so i was just going to leave out the front, but I didnt want him to see Riley. They went outside and I followed out the front. BD didnt see my friend putting Riley in the car but he saw me and followed me outside. I didnt want him to see Riley so I distracted him. I just told him that I was leaving bcus their is a restraining order, and one of us needed to leave. He said that he wanted to see Riley and I told him that I wasnt going to let that happen. He got REALLY mad..and pushed me into the bushes. I pushed him off of me and he punched me in the face. I couldnt get him off of me..so I punched him back. I ran to my car, got in, locked all the doors and we drove away. Once we were safe, I called the police on my cell phone. I cant believe this is happening. Again. I never thought he could ever hurt me and hes done it twice. I let him get away with it once but this time, im not. Im pressing charges and throwing his ass in jail. Im afraid that Riley saw something. I know shes young..but i dont want her to have to see anything like that. Im scared. I hate him for doing this to me, to us.

I'm so sorry that he did this again. I can't believe he fucking hurt you again. You did the right thing by getting out of there and calling the police. The fact that he violated the restraining order AND hit you is more than enough to press charges and put his ass in jail. You deserve so much better than this and I hate it that hes doing this to you. Now that he has done it two times, who knows what the hell he will do again, so if your feeling up to it, please take pictures if there are anymore bruises and document all of this with the police. I know what a wonderful person and mom you are and I'm here for you if you need to talk or if you need any resources in getting help please just let me know. Thanks so much girls. This is all soo hard for me and I cant believe its happening, but I will do anything to keep him from Riley. I have a black eye (and im pretty sure he does too) and I am pressing charges. He is a dangerous man and should rot in jail for all hes done to us.

I feel so bad for you, but you are doing the right thing. Maybe he'll be in there long enough to learn to control his temper. If he waited that long to try and see Riley he dosen't really care about her, he just wanted another reason to be mad at you and hit you.
hon, I am so sorry this happened again. He is an asshole, you did the right thing in pressing charges. You also did the right thing in not letting him see Riley, he probably didnt really want to see her, he just wanted to be able to control you. I hope he gets locked up long enough to realize what he is doing to you and Riley.

Stephanie...I am so sorry this is happening to you. Things were going really good for you. I hate him for doing this again! I'm so glad that you put a restraining order against him. At least you have this on record so he can't try to take Riley away. I understand why you are scared that she saw something.

Have you filed for custody? I would do that ASAP b/c with the court case still processing it will be easier for you. I would also file for a Temp. OOP from family court if riley isn't covered under your OOP. If he knew you were there and intentionally violated the restraining order like that he should of been thrown in jail right then. Or atleast that is how it is in New Mexico. Trust me BTDT
