my son is 5 months now, and ive pretty much quit breastfeeding since i started working. i nurse him probably 2 times a day. all the doctors, my mom, etc, all said that when i reduced my nursing habits from full-time to part-time, i would get the return of my bloody little friend. i got my job when my son was 3 1/2 months old, and that's when i quit full-time breastfeeding. so where the hell is my period? is this typical, for it to take so long to get it back, or am i abnormal? i plan on making an appointment for a checkup around the time my son is 6 months, but im curious now.
i don't think that's necessarily true that if you cut back on nursings that your period will return, i think it just comes back whenever your hormones level out, i guess for some people it happens sooner than later, and cutting back on nursings -may- spur it, but i think it can pretty much happen at any time.
