Wonderroos cloth diapers

I'm sure ya'll are getting tired of all the cloth diaper posts!!
But i'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with Wonderroos.
I'm trying to find a diaper that will fit through birth to potty training and i'm not having much luck. The only ones i've found are wonderoos. They seem a bit expensive but only having to buy one size makes it a bit more appealing . Do you ladies have any advice. My mom got some at Kroger's that are Gerbers Birds eye cloth diapers that are flat and you would need to use pins or snappis with them. They just don't seem like they would be very absorbant. But i'm rambling my main question is are there any other diapers that fit from birth to potty traing other than wonderroos that are worthwhile?

I have one and it really depends on your baby. I could sell it to you or trade for something. It's bright yellow and I've used it once. It really doesn't work for my baby but I know other moms who love them.

Gerber prefolds are not the best. The ones to buy are DSQ Chinese Prefolds. They have them on ebay often- you can find new or used. I got 3 doz infant prefolds for $65 shipped new when my kiddo was a baby. He wore them for 6 months. I spent $25 on prorap covers so I diapered him for less than $100 for 6 months.

I would LOVE to help any mama who would like to cloth diaper!!!

I also still use those prefolds for stuffers for pocket diapers so they are still getting used a year later!!!

hmmmm...are the Chinese prefolds like the other flat diapers you have to fold? What type of pocket diapers are you using now? I would be intrested in either buying or trading with you. But the only thing I really have to trde would be books or clothes. LOL. PM me with details if you don't mind!! Thanks!!

i like wonderoos. they fit for a very long time, but it really depends on your baby. i doubt they will fit EVERY baby from birth to potty training, but they do fit for a very long time, and you will certainly not have to buy lots of sizes.

for a while, the wonderoos just didn't fit my twins right, but they fit my 3 year old fine (she's potty trained, but i use her to gauge size on diapers). once the twins slimmed down a bit, the wonderoos fit fine. i think when they got chunky for a little while, the cut just wasn't right. still, a diaper that fits more often than not is a good deal in my book. you may have to use a different kind for a few months, but it's really no big deal.

What does DSQ mean?

Tonight at Wal Mart I saw these other gerber cloth diapers that have a absorbant(?) middle panel, the ones I have from gerber are flat and have a panel but it's still thin, so they don't soak ANYTHING up. I use some old diapers my mom has left over from my sister when she cloth diapered her and new vinyl panties. And I use one fuzzi bunz I finally got to order money is tight so it SUCKS trying to order stuff offline, because I don't have a bank account/credit card. I wish I could find them in stores around here.

Diaper Service Quality.

DO you use fitteds? I got Kushies fitted at Sears.

To the original poster, it is hard tto know. I asked my friends about Wonderoos and half of them loved them and half of them hated them. I think every baby is different.

I use exclusively fuzzibunz they are the best for our son. Gerber prefolds have an absorbant middlepannel made of polyester filler which is really bad for absorbancy. I have one wonderoo, it was too loose at the legs when DS was little. It fits him now but its feels like the odd one out being the only one and all and hardly gets used.

Muttiquin makes a one sized fitted diaper that I really like, also SOS diapers are good (they are fitted). I think Wonderoo is the only one size pocket diaper.

What size does your baby wear? I have some small fuzzibunz and other small diapering stuff I will send free for the cost of shipping if anyone is interested.

It has two (OR more) layers with and opening in the back that you can put prefolds, or inserts in to soak up urine.

AHHH that makes a lot of sense now. I'm thinking of doing cloth diapers, but it's kind of expensive to start out, and I have a lot of laundry anyway..... Maybe I'll just get a few (6 or so) and see how I like 'em. But 6 will still be expensive if I go with the quality ones. I dunno, I really want to try, but the money thing......

Yeah cding can be expensive, start small with prefolds and covers and maybe one fuzzibunz and move on from there (that's what I did) and I love it.
