Did anyone continue to "feel" your child kicking after they were born? It went away but i still miss sharing that space with him.

Sometimes I still feel like Christian is kicking me. I had the same feelings after Brayden was born. Kinda creaped me out at first then I got used to it and they went away after a while.

Yes!! That was *so* weird. It happened for a couple of months after he was born. I thought they left another baby in there or something

I didn't have any AFTER he was born, like right after, but last week (Treyton is 6 months old) I felt my first ghost kick. That ghost kick and the fact that my period was 2 days late had me running to buy a pregnancy test (silly me didn't even think that if I was 5 or so wks pregnant it wouldn't be kicking yet)
heh.

Hate to disappoint you all but those "Ghost kicks" are really just GAS, after you have a baby you feel the gas more often then you did before having a baby....

She's not saying what you felt during pregnancy was gas, what you felt *after* pregnancy was gas.

I mean it can't really be a little ghost baby..

Or can it *hums the twilite zone theme*

i wasn't being critical, i wasn't saying you didn't feel your fetus move WHILE you were pregnant, JUST that after pregnancy and birth things moving in you (IE GAS) are more prominent and you feel them more but they feel like little kicks, all i was saying was that is was just gas, not anything to be concerned about,

I get that sometimes too. I am pretty sure the medical reason is because of your organs moving back into place, and also gas and just normal intestinal stuff.
It is strange sometimes, it makes me think for a second. And then I realize I couldn't possibly be pregnant and even if I was, I probably wouldn't be far along enough to feel the bebe. I like it though, it makes me nostalgic.

YES! I also felt for kicks like I did when I was pregnant.. then I'd see Chloe and be all "oh yeah, you're out now.." Right after having her my body felt so weird to me, I wasn't used to a somewhat flat stomach...

Brayden is going to be 7 years old and I still get them every once in a while. But come to think of it, since Tricia mentioned gas, ... I am pretty sure its just me being a fartypants.

...I know what you mean though.
