hello girlmoms!
perusing the boards, we saw that there wasn't a forum devoted just to us as women, but many that focus on our various roles. Since this forum is already being used to post stories from our lives, we thought we could alter the description of it on the Index page so that it isn't just about how we became mothers, but also about our hopes, fears, goals, dreams, and selves. So anything we want to post about ourselves can go here, provided it's in line with the mission statement. What do you think?
the tentative new description is "We may be mothers, be we are still women with unique personalities, goals, and stories to tell. Share yours here." but I'm by no means wedded to it, so if you have something better, toss it out.
i think thats a great idea
I think that's excellent. It reflects that we're more than just mommies. You don't have to completely give up your individual self when you become a parent.
