Lost dogs

I have a golden retriver named Misty. Because of the size of our appartment, she has been living at my grandparent's farm. Another dog lives there also. He's a wanderer, and lately Misty started following him.

So to make a long story short, we haven't seen them for a week now. I have put calls in to the SSI (I believe that's what its called) as well as our humane society. They advised to me also put up lost signs for both dogs. None of my pets have ever ran away or wandered off before...so what does a lost sign look like? What information am I supposed to include?

Write a description of the dogs, ie: gloden retriever, answers to Misty. Wearing a blue coller, lost on XYZ Lane on DATE. Please call PHONENUMBER with any information. If you have a picture of Misty, that would help too, you could put those up in grocery stores and at gas stations where they have sign boards. Maybe the library as well?

Good luck finding your dog.

Thank God for the microchip that was placed in her when I first got her...someone 30 miles away found her a week ago. She brought Misty in to be scanned, they found the chip, called the information and she's back home. Unfortantly, we have no idea where the other dog is. We think someone picked them up and dropped them off somewhere apart from each other.
