i have been puking since about 4 am. it seems i puke and or have diareahha about every 1/2 hrs. any tips for making sure kasia doesnt get sick. i think its some stomach virus or something. she is almost 7 months still breastfed. also any suggestions to keep her busy or entertained. she is wearing my out just by breastfeeding. she wants to crawl around and i just want to sleep. any suggestions would be apreciated.
Breastfeeding her generally passes your antibodies onto her and helps her to not get sick as bad just to let you know in case you're worried about that
Yeah I got the flu a few months ago, Jules was probably 12-13 mos old but since he's breastfed he didn't get anything, even tho I was puking all over the place. After being up all night puking I got my mom to come pick him up so I could get some sleep- is there anyone who could watch her for you? Do you know which flu medications are okay for bf-ing? I didn't even worry about it since my kiddo is so big, I just took tylenol flu. It worked pretty well but I'm not sure if it'd be okay to take with such a small baby. If you can't find a sitter, maybe you could lay somewhere where you could watch her and put some toys on the floor for her- or put her in an exersaucer?
