Im not familiar with Florida at all. My mom and I have both never been there. Does anyone who has been to Florida, or who lives in Florida, know of any niceish, yet not very expensive hotels near Disney World? Also, maybe if you know of any good places to eat around there, or if you have any suggestions, since we have never been there before. Thanks!!
Ama84 will probably have some advice but...
We just went to Florida the first week in January. We didn't go to DisneyWorld (didn't really want to...we went to Universal, Sea World, etc... instead), but that entire area is basically made for tourists. I would be willing to bet most hotels have competitive pricing and are pretty decent inside. We stayed in a villa for a week in Kissimmee so I don't have any actual particular hotels to look for but probably the big name ones would be good. Try looking on the Disney website to see if they have a list of local area hotels.
erika, what villas did you stay in? We are going to florida in may and are trying to stay in a villa instead of a hotel. How did you like it?
