Established so that we could form networks of giving and receiving here at girlmom, the Mamas in Crisis fund seeks to serve the needs of girlmom members and young mothers who have found themselves in a rough spot. Some examples include needing abortion money, escaping abuse, and avoiding eviction.
Unfortunately, we live in a world that doesn't always seem to care about helping young mamas make ends meet. The Mamas in Crisis fund is the community aspect of girlmom, fully realized. It's a way to know that these mamas who have impacted your life from across the country are taken care of. And it's a damn good cause to put that spare change towards.
