Well, after about a week of thinking it might be a girl and getting a few frilly and pink gifts; we found out that she is a he. I'm a lot more far along than I expected. I thought I was 24/25 weeks but it turns out I'm 31 weeks.
He's already four pounds, 2 ounces with a nice heart beat. I'm naming him Adrien. I'm thrilled (nervous aswell!) and very glad that he's doing okay. I feel very blessed that he made it this far healthy.
Thanks for all the advice and comfort you've all given me. I really appreciate it! I'll update when I can.
P.S.
Adrien...Or Myles. lol One of those.

I adore the name Adrian. Congratulations on having a boy!
lol adrien makes me think of adrian crane from passions. But i like it! The spelling is cool. Good luck!
That is my friends son's name!!
Very nice! I am glad things are good. Thank goodness you didnt buy too many outifts
Congrats on the boy :D I like the name you chose altho i do like the name Myles! Anyways good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
OO and i had a question... How did they determine how much he weighed so far.. i asked my doc when i was 31 weeks and he said that there wasnt a way for me to tell till i was further along  hopefully next time he can tell me~ Congrats again!
I think that there is some way for them to measure the fetus and estimate how much it weighs. but i am not sure.
Aww, I love the name Adrien! And congrats on the boy!
lol i know how you wanted a girl but boys are great too :) i really love the name
It's just a guess. THey estimated my son would be 6lbs, by feeling around, but he was really 7 lbs 13 oz. Maybe they can measure from the ultrasound tho.
I adore the name Adrien too! Congratulations!
re: measuring: even with u/s it is a very rough guess.
Notoriously inaccurate in late pregnancy.
most accurate at 18-20 wks
Those weight estimates are TERRIBLE. I remember when i was preg with Gavin my ob/gyn told me I would be "lucky" if he were 5 lbs. I should ahve known better, but I was prepared for a teeny, tiny thing. He was 7lb 7 oz!
For my next pregnancy, I will make certain not to pay any attention if I'm told what the baby weighs before birth. I've never heard a story of an accurate guess.
PASSIONS! good show love it!
it went downhill. it got too weird with all those goblins and stuff. but other than that, its good! i watched it everyday for 2 summers in a row!
Congrats on your son. You haven't really got long to go then, how exciting.
It was estimated, I should have put that. I was really happy when she said that because 4 pounds makes him seem so much more real to me. lol
