Osmosis Advertising

Hey ladies!
I've noticed this subject for awhile, but it's been botering me more recently. I tried to ask some other females about it, but they didn't care. I knew you ladies would, because you are all fantastic.
Okay! So does anyone else notice the wedding ring propaganda? I can't look in any magazine, television ad, anything, without seeing a women who is dressed in revealing clothing; wearing a wedding ring. A women being touched by a man; wearing a wedding ring. Even in my birth control pamphlet! I wear the patch, and it showed where you could apply it. It was a simple picture about 100pixels by 100 pixels and it was of the body part, the patch and a hand. Every picture was of a women putting the patch on with her left hand and a teeny tiny band on her wedding finger. It was like telling me ((not in the literal sense)) that I should be married if I'm using this product. It drives me crazy! They can be wearing absolutly no jewelry at all, but as soon as sexual inuendo is being tossed it, the tiniest wedding band has to be there.
Does this make anyone else crazy? Or am I the black sheep?
