Okay, yesterday the three of us went to the mall to get me some gifts for mother's day. Trent bought Lyric a treat b/c she was being pretty good. Then when we would go to other stores, she started screaming & crying b/c wanted more and we would explain to her, no you can't get everything you want... you got this toy, blah blah... then she slapped me. It was so frustrating... she is usually pretty well behaved, but yesterday she was not at all. It was like, she knew it was mother's day & wanted to rebel... but usually she doesn't freak out this bad. But she was not listening to us at all yesterday... ahhhhhhhhhhhh

I feel you.
The day before Mothers Day I took my son to the zoo, and became one of "those people." - Y'know, the lady with the screaming, running-off-into-a-crowd, not stopping, climbing into the cheetah exhibit kid who finally yells beet-faced at the top of her lungs when she catches the little fucker "THAT'S IT WE'RE GOING HOME!" and buckles his too-big-for-the-stroller-butt into the stroller and storms outta there in a fuming huff. He's three, by the way.
Not a good day.
We both needed a nap.
I have no advice except that it happens to everybody. If I come up with a solution I'll let you know.
Allow me to join the party!
I'd like to add my story of a 4-year-old who got his stupid video game taken away yesterday because it was causing too many problems (namely anger when losing, not sharing, etc.). Said 4-year-old proceeded to scream as loud as I've EVER heard him, jump three feet in the air, and fall down, kicking, screaming, punching the floor, slapping out at anything near him. He also bit his own arm and pounded on the wall.
Happy mother's day to me.
Yep, took Hayley swimming yesterday at a friends apt. complex. She was all excited, running to the pool. We get there, she says she doesnt want to go in, then she does go in and proceeds to scream in this really scary tone for the next 30 minutes. I expected CPS to show up at any time.
She LOVES swimming and has never done that before. Amazing how shit changes on Mothers Day.
I want to join. My son behaved the worse he ever has. Even desided to poop in the tub. yeah. So I had a bad mothers day too.
My daughter's alot younger, but I just wanted to tell ya about the "present" I got yesterday. I was cleanin out the bathtub so Rylee could get in to take a bath. My lil brother has a weight room across the hall from from the bathroom and Rylee was in there playing with him (I know, NOT a good place for kids...) But I figured it would only be a minute, so the next thing I know she is screaming her head off. so I go running in there and she had dropped a weight on her toe. It was bleeding all over the place. The damn thing took off all of the skin on the tip of her toe and bruised it all under her toenail. I felt so bad!!!!! Like it was my fault, because I knew she shouldn't be in there, but I let her anyways  She cried for like 2 hours and couldn't walk for the rest of the day, and if anything touched her toe she would freak out. What a fun day that was...
My kid pooped in the tub, too!
Happy fucking mother's day!
Hmm. My kid was also a brat all day sunday. he gave me a really sweet present that he made at school, but the he threw a fit because I didn't get one for him. Then he acted whiney and jealous for the rest of the day.
awwww kids right :)
