With the addition of two new mods to the GirlMom community, it's time for a new mod intro/re-intro thread.
I'm Jen, 23 year old mom to my 4 year old son, who was born when I was 18. I work part-time and go to school (although I'm out for summer break right now, yay). I love reading, writing, swimming, feminism, vegetarian food, music, spending time with friends and family, and much more. I've been a part of the Girl-Mom community since my son was a baby, and I've been a mod for a couple of years now. I really enjoy working to help this community grow and thrive, and if you ever have any questions or concerns, feel free to PM or email me.

Hi everyone and I hope everyone welcomes the new mods!
I'm Erika, 21 year old single mom to a 2 year old boy named Tavin. He was born when I was 19. I'm a full-time student (we live in Minneapolis, and I go to the University of Minnesota) and am majoring in biology, will graduate next year and then hopefully go to med school (want to be an OB/GYN in a Planned Parenthood-type clinic). I am a big fan dorky pop music, LATTES, and celebrity gossip. I've been vegetarian for about 10 years and am raising my kiddo veg as well. I love music, besides pop of course, and play guitar and sing...if I wasn't going to try to be a doctor I'd want to be Christina Aguilera. I used to teach a guitar class at my high school, and wish I could play as often as I used to. Anyway....feel free to PM me any time with questions or concerns or just to talk. :)

I'm Kristy, 17 year old mom to my baby boy K, born nov. 5, 04.
I'm still in high school, trying to finish with honors. I hope to recieve scholarships to either WWU (in washington) or BSU (in boise, idaho.) I would like to become a medical transcriber//fill out bills.
I love to dance, and love music. My favorite band of all time is Backstreet boys. (shhh, don't laugh.) I listen to anything and everything, from the killers to britney spears. My favorite song is feelin' this by blink 182.
I came to GirlMom in December 03' during my first pregnancy scare. I found out I wasn't, lurked for a bit, was so careful about using protection, and came back in April 04' when I found out I was about 8 weeks pregnant. I've been a full member ever since. :D And I was given an incredible opporutiny in December 04' to become a mod. I'm loving every minute of it so far, even though it's sometimes stressful.

Hi, I'm Kristin, and I just turned 20 yesterday. I have an almost 7 month old baby, and a 5 year old step-daughter. I got pregnant during my second semester at Bryn Mawr College, a tiny women's liberal arts college outside of Philly. I came back home to California and took time off to get to know my little guy and will start going to school part time in the fall (I can't wait!!).
I love poetry, strong women, hiking, drinking strong dark coffee, politics, feminism, questioning, learning, writing....hmmm....I've also been a vegetarian for around ten years, though I've speant the last one eating fish. That's all I can think of.

Im Danielle, 18 year old mama to 1 year old Lex. im currently a SAHM living with my mom and her husband (it drives me nuts but ill be out soon) I'm awaiting the results of my EMT test so hopefully if i passed, i can get a job as an EMT soon.
I like punk music and use to play drums in a band that slowly fell apart as we all got a bit older.

I didn't know that you went to Bryn Mawr! I am a junior in high school and I visited Haverford and loved it! You have to give me the scoop on PM sometime. :D
