i read about this site in the latest issue of venus zine. it's www.noplainjane.org.
it has woman who've posted pics of themselves in just bras and underwear with an empowering statement underneath. it could be more diverse but according to the article i read the woman who created the site is working on that.

I do not think it is very body positive as they have no 'big girls' on it and I didn't see a single stretchmark or poochy baby bellies.
It disappointed me.
And also, Jamie Lee Curtis admits to having had a ton of plastic surgery, hence why she looks so good in the picture.
I do not see any stretchmarks or belly on her either, nor thighs, doesn't look very real to me, either airbrushing or the plastic surgeon.

I love the little notebook with suggestions! Like giving your rasor a vacation, I very rarely shave my legs/armpits, and in a way, I think it makes me feel more raw and feminine.

it seems though, like it is based on submissions by people watching and it is in the beginning stages. i think over time, hopefully, i'll work up the nerve to send something in so there will definitely be stretch marks and baby bellies!
