As some of you know, I live on a small island in southern California.
The Coast Guard just put out a Tsunami Warning, but no evacuations have began.
I know you are all dealing with alot, but if you have room for me in your prayers, I would appreciate it. I'm nervous but trying not to let my kids get scared.
We don't have a TV, so getting up-to-date info is sometimes hard, and because there is only 1 bridge to get off, evacuating may be tough.

Can you tell me your zip? The one from Alaska to Ca was called off just recently (I checked since you're close to my parents) so I wonder if that includes you.

The radio said it's of but then 15 minutes later, Erik's mom called and said the news on TV said it's still on.
We feel mostly safe.
How scary.

my bd called to tell me we were under tsunami watch too, and i did not believe him. I think we will be okay now.

OG! I heard that on the radio this morning and girl I thought of you!! My thoughts are with you and BE SAFE!!
i will definatley say a prayer for you guys.
We were also under the warning, but it was downgraded to a Tsunami Bulletin, and about 15 minutes later is said it was classified as just a scare and any wave activity would be centralized in the ocean off Cali, not making it to land.
