Dawna I know this was posted months ago but I just saw this documentary and I really liked it. My ex-husband's best friend was paralized 15 yrs ago on a camping trip after he dove into the lake and broke his neck.
I remember him wanting to kill himself and being really upset that his friends didn't just let him drown in the lake. But he was introduced to "murderball" and although he does not have enough mobility to play himself, he became an avid fan and did some traveling around to watch the US team play.
It gave him alot of hope and restored alot of faith for him.
