becoming a nurse

someone mentioned to me today that there are several ways to becoming a nurse. one way they mentioned was going to a hospital and just getting what ever job that you can and that the hospital will pay for your schooling to become a nurse. anyone? im not sure the whole situation they were talking about. i had planned on going to school however the idea of working and making money and have them pay for seems more attractive. any thoughts?

becoming a nurse

I'm going to school to become a nurse and work at a hospital as a pharmacy tech. The hospital pays for my education. I have to make an A for the whole reimberstment a B for half and a C for one third. It is called tushion reibustment. It is well worth it. First you have to pay for your classes yourself but it depends on the grade you make in the class as to how much money you get, I hope I helped PM me if you have any questions.

i am about to become a nursing student... and i also volunteer at a local hospital... it is a fairly small community hospital, part of a community hospital/health system... but they r going to pay $5,000 towards my education in return for a service commitment when i graduate! but i do know of many hospitals that once u r an LVN, RN or whatever, they will help pay to get u to the next level... whether it is bacholor's or master's (sp?)... that is just my experience!! i work with a nurse that worked her way up from being part of the housekeeping department to being a nursing supervisor with the help of the hospital for education!
