I just have to tell you guys what a dork I am. My mom was working 10pm to 6am, so she got home around 6 30 this morning and I hadn't even been to sleep yet since I have trouble falling asleep. So when she comes home she's like "uhh... you have to come to my work at 11 to sign some insurance papers.." So I'm like wtf..why WHY would I have to just randomly go to her work to sign a paper.. but of course I was running on no sleep so I was too tired to question it. THEN she says "hey, do you still have any disposable cameras?" and I said yes.. and she asked if she could use one. So I said sure. Didn't even THINK of asking what she wanted to take it for. So I stay up until 8am and the whole time, my mom is really fidgety and I'm like "Mom what is wrong with you?" But she's like "oh nothing I'm just unwinding.." THEEENN I go to sleep, and wake up two hours later at 10 because I heard the blowdryer. So I get up and I go see what she's doing and she's curling her hair. So I just raise my eyebrows at her...and she says "Oh, I thought after we went to my work we could go take pictures together cause ...you know...we like...just never take pictures.." (smooth) Then I was like "ehh I'm still kinda tired.." and she gets this panicked look on her face so I'm like "OK! yeah sure we can take pictures.." :shock: Don't have a cow. ( I just haven't said that in a long time.. thought I'd throw it in there.. :D ) SOOOOO I get ready and pretty and am still overly fucking tired... and 11 o clock rolls around. Time to um... sign...insurance..papers..? We get to her work, walk into the back of the store, and I follow her until we get the door of the "office". She opens it, I walk in.... ALDFJLASDJF SURPRISE YAYYYY AWWWW SURPRISSSSEEE!!!!!!!!!

My mom, who can usually NEVER hide anything from me EVER...pulled off a surprise baby shower. It was so sweet and you know what, she is LUCKY that I had no sleep otherwise I would have put it all together... Haha, but it was all her work friends and I don't know any of them so every time I'd open a card and a present I'd be like "Thank you.. (name)" and just quickly make eye contact with everyone in the room until I find the lady that's beaming .. Haha. It was nice..I feel like such a dork that I didn't figure it out though, because when I look back to this morning my mom was pretty fucking weird.. Anyways just thought I'd share..

Oh yeah. Tons of diapers and clothes and blankets etc.. It was overwhelming actually. Like I kinda felt bad because I didn't know any of them :? But there were all these old ladies that haven't had grandchildren yet and are going through major grandbaby lust so they went all out. I originally wanted to wait until after the kid was born to have the shower so the attention would be on her and not me haha. I'm not very good in social situations like that. You know Chandler from FRIENDS..when he is uncomfy he makes jokes? Thats what I do I can't help it. :shock:

(P.S I love the idea of an "after the baby is here" shower, then everyone gets to see the baby and "ooo" and "aaa" over the baby instead of on you...That`s what I would want, I`m so super shy like you.)
haha yeah, I figured it would be funner for me if they ooo and aaa over her across the room instead of huddling by my belly and slapping eachothers hands away just to get to feel it. :shock: Some chicks at baby showers get crazy

Wow that was a while ago haha.. We ended up going and laying around the beach all day.. and then we went out to dinner and all that good stuff. It was actually a pretty relaxing day.. it was nice. Unfortunately no anniversary sex since the sun decided it wanted to burn the hell out of me. I put sunblock everywhere BUT my back.. I guess I totally forgot I had a back or something :shock: I was fried for like a week, it sucked. Oh I ended up making him a really pretty frame and putting one of our million pictures of us kissing in it. haha.. Thats all I could think of :? It turned out way cute though.
