Try Hops-Valerian combo.
I don't sleep.
I've tried changing my diet, cutting out caffeine, Ambien, and another couple prescribed sleep-aids/anxiety pills. The pills will def knock me out, and i stay asleep all night but when i wake up in the morning i'm either still groggy feeling, or i get really tense and irritable mid-day and have to take another pill to counter-act it. But here in the past few days i've been trying these Hops-Valerian pills like 30 mins before bed and they really work. I get sleepy feeling instead of that drugged up sleepiness...and in the mornings i can wake up instead of feeling all funky like.
It says to take 3-4 pills before bedtime for a sleep-aid, but you can also try them in small doses (2-3 times a day) to reduce stress and anxiety. I haven't tried them for that yet...i've just been using them to help me sleep b/c sometimes you just want to go to sleep w/out drinking a 6-pack to get you buzzed, or taking some meds that drug your ass up and have you seeing shit...yeah when i take Ambien and happen to stay awake i start almost trippin.
