I'm kind of disappointed. At my last checkup the midwife warned me that the ultrasound technician's sex predictions over the last several months have often been wrong. (this technician no longer works there). Anyway, now I'm not really sure what I'm having. I know it doesn't matter but I really did want a girl :(
I have to have another ultrasound next week because I've been having some problems. I doubt at 36 weeks they'll be able to see the sex, so I guess it's going to be a surprise.

Sex predictions are wrong more often than you might think. But on the samr token, people often like to "over-warn" that it's wrong so you don't get too set on one sex or the other.
If you're ahving a baby shower, maybe set it for after the baby's born or only register for gender neutral items.
I'm not having a shower. I know lots of people with baby girls, and so i have acquired lots of pink clothes. It's all used, and I haven't bought much myself. We don't have a room either. The baby will sleep with me until its older and then share a room with my son until we can get a bigger place.
I do have a boy already, so I have some "boy" stuff. But I've only been thinking about girl names and picturing this baby girl...
I didnt have a baby shower either, so I understand where yoru coming from.
Secondly, I found out the sex of my baby between 32-36 weeks (I cant quite remember) I know it was late, because I had problems towards the end. So you never know!
I found out the sex of my daughter at 37 weeks 2 days. So its possible.
Hopefully the lil one is still a she!
I really hope you will be able to find something out.
A good friend of mine thought she was having a boy and bought all boy things and it turned out to be a girl..
save reciepts! :)
