Try to find a brand that doesn't require rinsing. I use spic and span at the moment because it was cheap and I was out of cash. But it doesn't require rinsing, so it helps.
The other thing is to wash it and then leave. Let it dry completely and make sure your socks/slippers/feet are clean before stepping on it. One thing that makes mine super sticky is using regular old slippers that have their own dirt that just gets spread throughout the house.

make sure you don't use too much cleaner either, i think it's a capful per gallon or something, so maybe a tablespoon or so.

Yeah, we definitely need some targets up here. They sound pretty good from what you American women say. :)

yeah I basically live at target!

Nicole, make sure you arent walking on the floor after its mopped and still wet, because if your feet have anything sticky on them, it will just get the floor sticky again. Also, try switching brands of soap if possible.

Have you tried Mr. Clean??? Ive used that, and it always seems to work for me..

What about the mop...what kind are you using??? Try wringing out the mop until its just damp, and not wet.

I advise to stay away from swiffers and the like...i find they suck big time, and dont do the same as a conventional mop!
