I know diaphragms aren't really talked about much anymore, at least not among women our age, but just in case anyone's interested in what they're like, I got one. Maybe my doctor is just good, but the fitting was totally easy, and putting the diaphragm in and taking it out is no problem and I can't even feel it when it's in. I expected it all to be so much more complicated, but it really wasn't. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for an alternative to the pill/hormones to think about it.

I've always been interested in getting one; however, I've heard they're not as effective for women who have given birth
why wouldnt it be as effective for someone whos given birth? Isnt a diaphram measured?
I'm not quite sure, but I think pregnancy changes the shape of the cervix and makes it more pliable, so it's harder to keep in one place.
