I just joined this online exercise and diet ( not weight loss, healthy pregnancy diet) program. It's okay. I think it's more for mommas that can afford to buy 100+ bucks worth of groceries every week. They do have some pretty good siggusetions for exercise though. I was just wondering what kind of exercise you all did when you were pregnant? I'm still in my first trimester, so for referance.

I'm not very athletic but I walked as much as possible during pregnancy.
I didn't excercise at all. I worked at a daycare up until the day I delivered, so I considered running around with 3 year olds plenty of excercise for me. I also walked everywhere. I'm not very athletic, either. I think just walking and moving around during the day is sufficient. I hate to excercise, so I'm bias. :D
I walked alot, and i had my 2 yr old to chase after. Other than that i didn't really exercise. During my last trimester i had to walk alot b/c i had this sore achy feeling, like the kid's head was hanging out, and the only thing that helped was walking.
Lol, that would have been a sight to see! I just had such a vivid image of that, hahaha. :lol:
I didn't do any exercise. That's probably why I looked like a beach ball. lol
I walk a lot, and thats about it.
I signed up for pre-natal aqua fit, and that starts next week. Other than that, I just havent really felt like doing it. Ive never been one to go to the gym as it was, as i never really had the need to loose weight...walkings always been whats worked for me. Just stay active, and make sure you dont turn into a couch potatoe, and you should be fine.
I am either sitting on my arse on the couch eating or chasing after our 3 very boisterous kidlets, I figure that's all the exercise I need.
I did a LOT of walking!
*LOL* that's what it felt like so anytime someone would ask how i was doing, that's what i told them!
I usually just went on the treadmill or the elliptical. I still did crunches for the first 3 months as my doctor OK'd it until then, but after that I had to reduce how I worked out. After that I really just used the treadmill or walked.
Swimming is supposed to be something you can do while pregnant, and it's a really good way to keep fit.
