What is it exactly, and how can you recognize it? I've been seeing a lot of ads and commercials about it, but never really anything explaining exactly what it was or what the cause is and all that stuff..

It's very dangerous in babies under 1. Lyric got it when she was one after a train of amonia spilled in Minot where I used to live and she also developed asthma from that.
Those websites has some good info on it. When Lyric had it, it wasn't too different from a cold, but it very catchy and anyone who came into the room had to wear gloves, robes, etc...
its like a very severe type of flu or cold. Preemies can die from it. My son was very premature (a micro-preemie) so i couldnt have anyone around him until he was about 6 months old and i couldn't take him out of the house very often. He could catch it very easily. It can effect preemies bad until they're about 2.

Thanks for the info...It was catchy for adults too?
I remember when Lyric had it, BD & I worked at the same place and I stayed at the hospital and he tried going back - they wouldn't let him! It's not as serious in adults. So they kinda made a big deal about it... BD and I just wouldn't go around other babies & stuff.
