This morning I noticed that my boobs didn't seem to be filling up like they usually do, they have just felt empty you know? I haven't been feeding her any more than usual or anything, and usually they will feel more full before I feed her each time. So can I stop producing enough milk just like that? I mean I squeeze it and some will come out, but not like a whole bunch like normal...ugh I hope it's all ok..

I thought after a certain point your body would figure out how much milk the baby needed and you'd stop being so engorged.
I've never breastfed, but thats what I've read...
I guess keep an eye out for any changes in the frequency of her bowel movements and keep track of her urination to make sure she is staying hydrated.
Of course, disregard me entirely if someone with more experience with these things advises differently :)
yeah see I already got past the engorged part, but still, you can tell when they have more milk in them and when you pretty much "empty" them out.. so I don't know what's going on..
no, you definately get to a point, way past engorgement and the subsequent disengorgement, when your milk production regulates and your breasts feel pretty "empty." They aren't actually empty, but they don't feel full, they don't leak, etc... It's fine.

Yep- you have enough- the indicator of supply is not feeling. It is the baby's wet (and poopy) diapers. It sounds like you are getting regulated.
If she were truely not getting enough it would be obvious :)
thanks, and thanks emeraldfirefly for the link. whew I'm glad.. I was sad all night because I thought something was wrong and I'd have to stop breastfeeding. I wasn't hearing her gulping like usual too so I was worried. But she has had plenty of wet diapers and even decided once that the diaper wasn't good enough and peed on me :D yay for not having to stop breastfeeding!
