HELP!!! Instant Tanner!

Okay, this is the first time I've put instant tanner on and it's gotten really really streaky. Any ideas as how to get it off? I've used rubbing alcahol and nail polish remover and it's fading but any other ideas?

Thanks so much!

*giggles* Nope!

Sorry to laugh, but I've done this before though and I know how frustrating it can be. Silly me though, thought my face needed tanning too, so you can imagine how funny I looked. ;)

Exfoliate. Other then that, what's done is done.

If you want to use self tanner again, I suggest using a foam tanner (they spread more evenly) and exfoliating before you do it to prevent streaking.

HELP!!! Instant Tanner!

K, I've used Instant tanner before and it's never been this bad the rubbing alcahol is sort of fading but my rubbing alcahol is gone now! You can laugh, cuz Josh was laughing his head off when he saw my legs. What should I use to exfoliate?

I heard baby oil works pretty well too. Use a loofah or if you dont have one use some lotion and mix coarse salt like kosher salt in with itand SCRUB! good luck

the ideas above are definitely good ideas for exfoliation.

Exfoliating before using a self tanner will slough off dead skin, it's mostly dead skin build up that makes self tanner go all wonky, because the tanners stick to the clean parts of the leg, but stick to the dead skin buildup, and then when the buildup washes off, the skin underneath has no tanner on it. Exfoliation helps it go more smoothly.

Scrub it off with the rough side of a kitchen sponge. You have to scrub pretty hard. You can put baby oil on your skin about ten minutes beforehand to sort of loosen up the dead skin (the part that's stained by the tanner). It will scrub off, but sometimes it takes awhile.
